49-year old Hungarian promoter, manager, agent and fighter Zoltan Petranyi (51-22) continues his world travels and take on another veteran heavyweight in Chauncey Welliver (55-11-1) in Albany (New Zealand) August 14.

 

Petranyi (pictured) was earlier in the year knocked out by Shannon Briggs in Panama City and in 2014 he travelled all the way to Tahiti in the French Polynesia to defend the obscure UBO European heavyweight title only to be forced to pull out of the fight due to the bad shape the ring was in.

 

 

EU (European Union) lightweight champ Jean Pierre Bauwens (37-1-1) from Belgium will defend the title September 5 in Rome against Italian Challenger Manuel Lancia (12-1-1).

 

Bauwens vs Lancia is promoted by Buccioni Boxing Team. BBT won the purse bids with an offer for 15 850,00 Euro.

 

 

EBU superwelter champ Cedric Vitu (42-2) will make a voluntary defence of the title November 21 in Levallois on a MK Events promotion. Opponent is to be announced.

 

Vitu won the title with a come from behind knockout win over Orlande Fiordigiglio in June.
