Armenian Alex Miskirtchian (25-3-1) is ready for the next step and make his US debut on Coney Island, NY, August 25 and take on Cornelius Lock (22-7-2) in the headliner on this Salita Promotions show.

 

 

Miskirtchian, a two time EBU champ at featherweight, has fought out of Belgium for his entire career but is now looking to make it over there. Alex is still managed by Alain Vanaeckere and is now promoted by Salita Promotions.

 

Miskirtchian is currently training in L A at the Glendale Fight Club.

 

 

Cruiserweight Noel Gevor (18-0) face Argentinian Daniel Alejandro “El Torbellino” Sanabria (20-4) with the vacant WBO Int’l title at stake in a supporting bout to Juergen Braehmer´s defence of the WBA regular lightheavy belt against Konni Konrad September 5 in Dresden.

 

Gevor is based in Hamburg and trained by his stepfather Khoren, former EBU champ and World title contender.

 

 

Thomas Masson (13-3-1) will face Silvio Olteanu (15-7-1) in Bruay la Bussiere (France) September 12 with the vacant EBU flyweight title at stake. The title became vacant when Kevin Satchell was stripped of the title with the date and site already set and Masson thus get home advantage.

 

Olteanu hails from Romania but has been based in Spain throughout his career and was 0-3 after his first three fights but later won the EBU title twice and also challenged for the WBA crown twice.
