The building was sold-out (550 people) and the fans rowdly supported Malignaggi who won on points after 8 rounds. Fazekas didn’t come to be just the opponent and he proved it hitting Malignaggi’s face many times. The Hungarian was also deducted a point for his rugged tactics (a couple of times it seemed that Fazekas wanted to make it a bar brawl). After the victory, fans surrounded Malignaggi asking for autographs and selfies. The dressing room was just a few meters away from the ring, but the Magic Man needed several minutes to reach it because of the crowd. He was also interviewed by ESPN who sent a journalist to Milan to write a piece for their website.
