The EBU have as expected ordered an immidiate rematch between cruiserweights Dmytro Kucher and Bilal Laggoune. The two fought to a split draw this past weekend in Gent (Belgium). There will now be a period for private negotations that ends November 15. If no deal purse bids will be called for.

The Sauerland Brothers, Kalle and Nisse, announced on Twitter that the fight billed as Bad Blood is on: Danish supermiddles Patrick Nielsen (27-1) and Rudy “Hardhitter” Markussen (39-3-0-1) go at it December 12 at the Brondby Hall on the outskirts of Copenhagen.

Patrick Nielsen   vs   Rudy Markussen

The 38-year old Markussen came back after an almost three year layoff in September and won on a first round knockout over Ramazi Gogichashvili while Nielsen outscored Samir Santos Barbosa on a show billed as Collision Course and now we have Bad Blood.

The fight is made at 170,5 lbs which most observers feel benefits Markussen, who's been fighting at 168 and 175 for most of his career while Nielsen is up from middleweight.

Hungarian cruiser Imre Szello (8-0) take on tough Argentinian Alejandro Valori (17-8) on Saturday (Oct 17) in Budapest in the headliner of this Felix Racz promotion.

The undercard features the prodebut of middleweight Norbert Harcza, who recently competed in the European Championships and reached quarterfinal. Harcza take on Czech veteran Bronislav Kubin (17-16-2)

Hall of fame promoter Mogens Palle and his partner, retired heavyweight Brian Nielsen will stage their first show in November and promise a show with at least five fights on the bill. There will be one international title fight, three Tomorrow's champions fights featuring Danish talent and what they call a “surprise”. No names are announced or made public but it's billed Danish Fight Night as compared with Sauerland's Nordic Fight Night so one can at least draw the conclusion that there will be an all Danish lineup on the bill.

German lightheavy Enrico Koelling (18-1) has been added to the undercard of Feigenbutz vs De Carolis. Koelling marks time on the undercard with a fight against Karel Horejsek (4-3-1).

Koelling was first set to fight on the planned September 26 show but that was later cancelled.
