Davide De Carolis, 75,8, Ita TKO 11 (0.31) Vincent Feigenbutz, 75,7, Ger De Carolis won the WBA regular (Feigenbutz was interim champ but was elevated to regular champ when Andre Ward moved up to 175) with an eleventh round tko over Feigenbutz, who has gone from good prospect to a limited hardpunching brawler. De Carolis' jab kept Feigenbutz busy and he was unable to pick it off as he tends to cover up with both hands in front of his face. Feigenbutz had some moments but was generally outboxed until hurt by a right early in the eleventh. He staggered sideways, his back turned to his opponent and De Carolis struck him on the back of the head and then followed up until referee Gustavo Padilla stopped it. Wilfried Sauerland was first getting into the ring protesting about the claimed illegal punch and there maybe an official protest. After ten it was scored 96-94 twice and 98-92, all for De Carolis.
