Featherweights Viorel Simion (19-1) and Alex Miskirtchian (26-4-1) headlines EC Boxing's show in Bucharest (Romania) March 18 in a quality matchup with the IBF Intercontinental title at stake.

Both men have been around for some time and missed some big chances and are now looking get back into the mix. Miskirtchian have held the EBU title and fought for the IBF belt but suffered a bad setback last year when he was stopped by Cornelius Lock.

On the undercard heavyweight prospect Adrian Granat (11-0, 10ko) take on Austrian spoiler Samir Kurtagic (12-8) – this fight was first set for March 12 in Paris but was moved to Bucharest after cruiser Nikola Milalic was injured.

Christian Hammer (18-4) square off against faded veteran Michael Sprott (42-25) in another heavyweight encounter.
