Lightheavy Enrico Koelling (20-1) take on tough Ukrainan Oleksandr Cherviak (15-5-1) with the vacant WBA Intercontinental title at stake April 9 in Potsdam on the undercard to Jack Culcay´s defence of the WBA interim superwelter title.

Both Cherviak and Koelling have previously fought for the WBA I/C title with mixed results. Koelling's sole loss came to Mirco Ricci with the Interconti belt at stake and as for Cherviak he beat Dustin Dirks but wasn´t declared champion as he came in overweight. He then fought Robin Krasniqi for the WBA Continental title and lost and his last fight he was outscored by IBF I/C ruler Erik Skoglund.

Koelling had a tough 2015 when he was also diagnosed with diabetes but have stayed active and adjusted his lifestyle and outscored Serhyi Demchenko in his last fight. Demchenko then stepped in at late notice and stopped Mirco Ricci to win the vacant EU title.
