Has never been contacted to fight Briggs

German heavyweight Aleksander Dimitrenko is according to boxwelt.com not fighting Shannon Briggs May 21 in London. Boxwelt.com quotes Dimitrenko's legal representative Lukke Moerschner, who states that his client have never even been contacted in regards of fighting Briggs.

According to Moerschner there have been no contact with Dimitrenko and Hayemaker Promotion nor any third part. Dimitrenko made a statement on his Twitter account already May 3 that he was not fighting Briggs but that was apparently lost in the media flow. Briggs vs Dimitrenko was first mentioned in some media late April.

Dimitrenko will however continue his career and fight later this year but when, where and against who is still open.
