5-year old former cruiser champ (WBA) Firat Arslan (37-8-2) take on 39-year old Nuri Seferi (37-7) September 18 in Goeppingen (Germany) in a true crossroads fight where the loser will have nowhere to go while the  winner will have his sights set on IBO champ Marco Huck, who has beaten both. Heavyweight Christian Hammer (19-4) is featured on the undercard. against an opponent to be annnounced. The show in Goeppingen is promoted by EC Boxing.

WBA regular lightheavy champ Juergen Braehmer is now not only training WBA supermiddle contender Tyron Zeuge - he is sparring with him as well. This was not planned but came about as the booked sparringpartners didn't arrive as planned. Zeuge take on WBA regular supermiddle champ Giovanni De Carolis July 16 in  Berlin on a Sauerland Event promotion. It's probablyt a first in boxing that a current world champ is training a challenger. Assistant coach is Konny Mittermeier.
