Baranchyk won the IBF 140 lb and WBSS quarterfinal and wore down the lighter punching Yigit, who lacked the power and right tactics to hold off "the Beast". Yigit was cut under the left eye in the second and it was swollen shut in the third and got wors. Trainers Carlos Formento and Joel Grandell worked with ice but Enswell seemed to be missing. The doctor adviced referee Phil Edwards to stop it after the seventh .- it was scored 67-65 twice and 68-64 for Baranchyk. the fight was not televised in Scandinavia.
