12x3: Ilunga Makabu, 89,85, TKO 5 (2.36) Dmitry Kudryashov, 90,5,
Makabu won the vacant WBC Silver title. Kudryashov was floored in the second and hurt in the fifth.

10x3: Evgeny Tischchenko, 90,55, TKO 1 (2.49) Abraham Tabul, 87,8, Gha

6x2: Fatima Dudieva, 53,8, TKO 1 (1.30) Tamara Melkonyan, 54,3,
June 15, Randers, DEN; Randers Arena, Danish Fight Night (Mogens & Bettina Palle)
Jorgen ”Gamle” Hansen Memorial (40 years ago he stopped Dave Green at this venue in a sensational upset that is still talked about.)
Enock Mwandila Poulsen, 63,0, Den W12-U Michal Syrowatka, 63,5, Pol
Poulsen won the vacant EU title on scores of 116-112, 117-111 and 118-110 but it looked like 120-108 to me. The Dane boxed on the move, sometimes too much but was in control throughout. Syrowatka kept chasing, kept coming but was outboxed and never got close to his opponent.
10x3: Ditlev Rossing 89,0, Den TKO 8 (2.56) Demetrius Banks, 87,6, US
Rossing, 24, was allowed a ”graduation” defence of the WBC Youth title agains the 38-year old Banks who couldn´t win the title no matter what – not that he tried. He did cover up well, made Rossing look bad and when the frustrated Dane went low and had a point deducted (in the fifth) Banks saw his chance and overplayed and overplayed a borderline, light punch and later punches to the back of the head. In the 8th he threw himself to the canvas and was counted out claiming he was hurt by an illegal punch – but even his own cornerman urged him to get up. It was not a good fight. Banks was a late sub for Landry Matete.
Jeppe Morell, 78,5, Den W10-S Dayron Lester, 79,2, Cuba/Fin
Morell won the vacant IBF Baltic title on scores of 97-92 and 95-94 – with 96-92 for Lester on the third card. I had it 95-93 Morell. Lester had all the moves and skills to win this easily or so it seemed but he showboated too much and his workrate was too low. Morell, a southpaw and still green, moved in the wrong direction and walked into some counters. In the fourth heads clashed. Lester was given a time out but when the fight resumed he was nailed by a stiff left and later in the round he was floored by another left and now the smile left Lester´s face for good. He worked harder but the sharpness also left his boxing. Late in the sixth he floored Morell with a right but the Dane was up right away and was saved by the bell. Morell then seemed to shade the next three on my card on sheer workrate as neither man was effective. Lester won the final round and both cheered at the bell. Many felt the wrong man had won but workrate also counts, and one don´t get points for looking good.
Oliver Meng, 69,5, Den W8-U Flavien Bruno Bogongo, 71,5, Fra
80-72 on all cards. Meng, a southpaw, got nowhere with his tough opponent but won every round.
Victor Ramon, 63,3, Den W4-U Hermin Isava, 62,5, Ven/Spa
40-36 twice and 39-37. Ramon made his prodebut and got a good learning fight from Isava.
8x2: Sarah Mahfoud vs first Olivia Gerula then Eronlisa De Leon.
Gerula´s Medical was not in order and De Leon didn´t get on the plane to leave Spain.
June 15, Schwerin, GER, Sport und Congress Center, AGON Sports, bdb
Tyron Zeuge, 75,8, Ger KO 10 Adan Silvera, 75,6, Spa
Zeuge won the vacant EU title and ended matters with bodyshots.
Jürgen Brähmer, 76,0, Ger KO 2 Edi Kadrija, 76,1, Ger
Kadrija a late sub for Niels Schmidt. Braehmer special: a southpaw left hook to the body end matters.

Björn Schicke, 72,1, Ger W10-U Hector Hernandez, 72,0,

June 15, Riga, LAT, Arena, WBSS Sauerland Event
Mairis Briedis, 89,9, Lat KO 3 (0.24) Krzystof Glowacki, 89,6, Pol
WBSS semifinal and vacant WBO world title (WBC withdrew sanctioning for some reason). In the second Glowacki threw a rabbit punch, Briedis answered with an elbow that landed on the chin of Glowacki, who seemed to overplay it and went down. Briedis then had a point deducted but as the fight resumed he hurt and floored Glowacki with two rights. Referee Robert Byrd acted slowly throughout and didn´t hear the bell and Briedis, who had heard the bell took the chance and hurt Glowacki for real and scored another knockdown - well after the bell (neither man heard it). Byrd then seemed to wave it off and seemed groggy as well. In the third the two slugged it out but Briedis was sharper and hurt Glowacki and put him down face first with a big right - and now Byrd stopped it.
Yunier Dorticos, 90,4, Cuba KO 10 (2.33) Andrew Tabiti, 90,4, USA
vacant IBF interim title and WBSS Semifinal where Dorticos was badly cut in the sixth and Tabiti had a point deducted for holding. Dorticos took out Tabiti with a short, powerful right hook in the tenth.
