Hannig retained the WBC Int´l 175 lb title on scores of 114-113 and 115-112 twice but badly and looked out of it at the final bell. After four it was scored 39-37 Hannig, 38-38 and 39-37 Liebenberg. Hannig upped the pace and pulled ahead and after eight the scoring was 78-74 twice and 77-75 Hannig. Liebenberg was fading but closed out strongly and nearly pulled it off.
