8x3: Landry Kore, 71,8, Den KO 5 (1.12) Idaas Redjdal, 72,6, Fra
The fight started slowly but Redjdal boxed well and took over in the second. In the third he found a home for his right upercut and hurt Kore, who went down on one knee after another upercut had landed. As he got up he looked all right but was moments later in big trouble and went down again. Redjdal poured it on for real in the final ten but Kore was saved by the bell. The Frenchman continued to box well but Kore, in excellent shape, took over the fight. In the fifth Kore hurt Redjdal with a hook and the Frencman retreated into his own corner. Kore then landed a monster of a left hook and Redjdal went down and out. It was stopped without a count. After four it was scored 39-35 and 38-36 twice for Redjdal.
6x3: Oliver Möllenberg, 65,8, Den TKO 1 (1.05) Sandro Luetke Bordewick, 64,7, Ger
The towel came in after the second knockdown (bodyshots). Bordewick, from the German gba circuit, looked rather inept.
4x3: Payman Akbari, 56,0, Den KO 1 (2.04) Sergey Vib, 58,1, Ger
Vib, another gba bum, went down and out after a right hook downstairs. He got up, felt the pain, sat down again and was counted out.
6x3: Michael Nielsen, 56,7, Den W6-U Paris Stavropoulos, 60,5 at the weighin, Gre
Stavropoulos arrived 3,5 kg over the contracted weight. A few hours later he had trimmed down to a little over 58 kg and that was accepted with a fine imposed. Nielsen won on scores of 58-56 on all cards but it was a hometown decision. The size difference told and Nielsen was rattled a few times but as the Greek began to dance around and showboat he blew some rounds and as it was the fight.
6x3: Mikkel Nielsen, 66,9, Den W6-S Bernard Follea, 66,9, Fra
58-56 both ways and an out of line 60-54 for Nielsen after a tough, good fight fought mainly on the inside where both had their moments. Follea had a good right hook but Nielsen outworked him. I had it 57-57.
