Harper retained the WBC and WBO titles by stopping outclassed interim queen in the ninth. Thanderz was much too slow and one-paced while Harper boxed well behind her jab. In the ninth heads clashed and Thanderz got a short time out but was then hurt by a left hook to the body. She had nothing left and the referee made a timely stoppage.
