Lejarraga won the vacant EBU super welter title on scores of 96-94 and 96-95 and 95-95. Charrat was badly cut in the 10th after an accidental clash of heads that lead to a stoppage. Lejarraga was ahead by a close margin in a tough fight where Charrat boxed well but was worn down by Lejarraga's strength and agression.
