Oct 9, Magdeburg, GER, Getec Arena, SES, bdb
Dominic Bösel, 79,3, Ger W12-S Robin Krasniqi, 79,3, Ger
Bösel won back the IBO title and won a WBA eliminator with a close decision over Krasniqi. It was scored 116-112 and 115-114 Bösel and 115-114 Krasniqi in a heated, exciting affair. Krasniqi started fast, scored with quick bursts of punches and then fled at a fast pace. Bösel was steady though, blocked punches well and by the fifth Krasniqi had slowed down a bit. In the later rounds Bösel was the more effective in a tough fight with lots of holding, holding and hitting, wrestling and trash talk. I had 115-113 Bösel.
10x3: Peter Kadiru, 108,4, Ger W10-U Boris Estenfelder, 101,4, Ger
Kadiru retained the German (BDB version) heavyweight title on scores of a too close 99-91 and 98-92 and a correct 100-90. Kadiru boxed well but could never hurt his opponent and doesn't seem to have any desire to do more than win.
10x3: Roman Fress, 90,7, Ger W10-U Luca D'Ortenzi, 89,8, Ita
Fress retained the WBO I-C title on scores of 97-92 twice and 95-94. D'Ortenzi had a dangerous right and caught Fress in the fourth and he was visible wobbled. At the end of the round he went down as well but it was more a slip than anything else. Fress fights like his trainer Robert Stieglitz only not that well and is open for overhand counters. He won by 96-93 on my cards. D'Ortenzi had his moments and felt he was robbed but no, he wasn't.
6x3: Umut Camkiran, 125,1, Tur TKO 4 (not out) Dorda Tomic, 112,4, B-H
Camkiran, with the looks of a bull, wore down his brave opponent with a steady attack and heavy hooks from both hands. Tomic was tough but was worn down and didn't come out for the 4th due to a busted nose.
4x3: Julian Vogel, 66,5, Ger W4-U Bakhtiyar Isgandarzada, 64,6, Aze
Good learning fight for Vogel. 40-36 on all cards.
4x3: Viktor Jurk, 113,1, Ger TKO 1 (1.46) Zoltan Csala, 120,5, Hun
Csala was never hurt but still went down four times. Jurk, a southpaw, made his debut. He is managed by Bernd Bönte.
6x3: Ammar Riad Abduljabbar, 86,0, Ger TKO 1 (2.57) Svitoslav Svyryd, 87,7, Ukr
Abduljabbar made his debut and showed heavy hooks to the body. Svyryd was down twice and the towel came in.
4x3: Max Suske, 72,4, Ger KO 1 (2.41) Richard Walter, 69,2, Cze
Missed this one due to Covid-19 restrictions.
