Anderson Prestot, 72,550, Fra Wtd5-U Matteo Signani, 72,0, Ita
Prestot won the EBU middleweight title when Prestot was stopped from further boxing by the ringside physician at the start of the fifth due to a bad cut by the left eye. The cut came in the fourth and was a long timeout then as well but Prestot was allowed to continue (a cynic can of course wonder why since there was nothing for a cutman to do with a gash that big). Signani, who had made a slow start, must have known he was trailing on points and went all out to finish it but the Frenchman matched him punch for punch and landed more. At the start of the fifth the referee called for a timeout and now the doctor said no and it went to the scorecards: 50-46 on all cards
Milan Prat, 69,250, Fra TKO 7 Amaury Massenaux, 69,0, Bel
Prat won the vacant EU super welter title when Massenauux was retired by his corner during the seventh. Prat dominated the fight landing wth uppercuts but Massenaux was brave. He was hurt in the first by left hooks to the body but kept trying and landed with some good punches but Prat was too much for him. He fell apart in the seventh and the towel came in for a timely stoppage.
