Oct 29, Järvenpää, FIN, Liikuntahalli, Pro Boxing Team Finland
Eikan (local pub) Boxing Night
10x3: Samuli Kärkkäinen, 90,0, Fin  W10-U Samo Jangirov, 90,1, Swe
Kärkkäinen won on scores of 99-91, 97-93 and a too close 96-95. The Finn, a southpaw, boxed well behind his jab, showed good footwork and was generally the sharper man. Jangirov, a short and stocky brawler, tried different ways, switching to southpaw but only when he slugged it out did he have som success. He landed a good right hook in the ninth but Kärkkäinen took it well.
8x3: Amin Nuri, 66,7, Fin, W8-U  Frank Madsen, 66,7, Den
Nuri, a southpaw, outboxed Madsen in the first four but tired and was under pressure in the last four. He won the 7th though and that saved the win for him a on my card (77-75) but the judges had it wider at 79-73 twice and 78-74.
6x3: Mika Mielonen, , 115,9, Fin TKO 2 Anton Sjomkin, 97,0, Est

4x3: Ivan Perälä, 76,2, Fin TKO 1 Zoltan Lepsenyi, 75,2, Hun
Lepsenyi came out fast but showed a leaky defence and perhaps a bad chin as well. Perala scored with a left-right and Lepsenyi was wobbled and wwas heavily floored by a right. He got up but it was correctly stopped.
4x3: Anton Embulaev, 76,3, Fin  W4-U  Attila Tibor Nagy, 78,3, Hun
40-36x3. Debut for Embulaev, trained by Amin Asikainen, and he looked okay but too green.
4x3: Janne Rantanen, 79,9, Fin W4-M Marko Mononen, 79,3, Fin
Rantanen was too strong, was the agressor and won on scores of 40-36, 39-37 while the third judge had it too close at 38-38.
