Jakob Bank

Feb 3, Kolding, DEN, Forum, TK Promotion
12x3: Jakob Bank, 76,0, Den TKO 7 (1.28) Ronny Landaeta, 76,2, Spa
Bank did a number on Landaeta winning every round against the veteran who at times looked dangerous but for the most part just soaked up a bad beating. There were two instances when the referee could have counted in the early rounds but ruled a push - and yes Bank pushed when he punched but Landaeta went down from something. Late in the sixth the Spaniard, marked up and bleeding from the nose, finally went down "for real" after a one-two combo. In the seventh Landaeta first went down from a right, got up and was allowed to continue but then sat down again and waved his hands as the towel came in. It was scored 60-53 twice and 60-52 for Bank  after six A good win for the Dane, who looks like he got the moves, speed and power for the big time but also needs tougher tests.
4x3: Elias Idrissi, 63,5, Den  W4-U Jakub Laskowski, 63,9, Pol
40-36x3. Idrissi was too wild and got nowhere with his experienced opponent.
4x3: Morten Givskov, 110,4, Den KO 2 (2.59)  Pawel Sowik, 97,9, Pol
Prodebut for Givskov. a southpaw, and a top class amateur. Sowik did alright but once the Dane stepped it up it was one way traffic and after a right-left combo he sat the count out.
4x3: Victor Hoveling, 70,0, Den  TKO 2 (1.59)   Mikolaj Rabczak, 70,9, Pol
Rabczak waas down in the first and again in the second but it seemed more like a case of collapsing under pressure. Hoveling was wild and went all out after the second knockdown and as Rabczak bent over it was stopped.
4x3: Nesar Kunduzi, 57,9, Den D4-S Leotrim Rexhepi, ?, Kos
38-37 both ways and 38-38. Rexhepi suffered a dubious knockdown in the third but won the round otherwise and was the better boxer throughout.
6x3: Mikkel Gribsholt, 58,7, Den  TKO 2 (2.47)  Jak Johnson, 60,5, Uk/?
Gribshold landed with an overhand right, Johnson went down and the towel came in.

Feb 3, London, UK; Wembley Arena, Boxxer
12x3: Adam Azim, 63,5, Uk KO 5  Enock Poulsen, 63,3, Den
Azim retained the EBU super lightweight title when Poulsen, again, dislocated his right shoulder, sat down and was counted out-. This might be it for the Dane, who has a history of these kinds of injuries. Azim had won the four completed rounds on all cards but it was still an open fight.
