Kem Ljungquist

March 9, Copenhagen, DEN, KB-Hall, Rng*Sde (Kem L& Magnus Ljungquist, Peder Forsman)
10x3: Kem Ljungquist, 109,2, Den  W10-M  Marios Kollias, 105,4. Gre/Swe
Ljungquist won on scores of 98-92 twice and 95-95 in this non-title fight. Kollias came in on less than a months notice as a substitute for Belgian Bilal Laggoune, and took the fight to his bigger southpaw opponent. In the second Kem's nose began to bleed and a cut opened on the bridge of the nose and the nose looked overall in a bad shape. Ljungquist was in pain and in trouble and resorted to holding and that became the pattern of the fight. In the sixth Kollias finally broke through and hurt the Dane, who was almost going down but managed to, you got it, hold on and was saved by the bell. The Greek tired a bit and Ljungquist scored with some southpaw jab- good left uppercuts combinations. to the head and body of his opponent.  It was an even hardfought battle but as the referee allowed Ljungquist to hold and hold and hold it was as Kollias had to fight two men in the ring. The two 98-92 scorecards were well out of line. I had it 96-94 Kollias, Alex Hermann at knock-out-dk ad it 95-95. Team Kollias is working to get the Swedish Federation to file an official protest, which isn't likely to go anywhere. and Kollias' manager Kamran Kabinejad told local media the Danish Federation should be thrown out of the EBU.
8x3: Ahmad El Ahmad, 57,1, Den  TKO 5 (not out)  Michael De La Rosa Nielsen, 55,7, den

4x3: Elias Idrissi, 62,0, Den "KO 1"  Mehmedalija Suljic, 56,1, B-H
Suljic was a late sub for Pole Marek Poncik and went over after a light touch to the body in a gross mismatch. Note the weight difference.
4x3; Amre Allman, 80,8, Den  W4-U  Pavol Garaj, 77,0, Slo
40-36 on all cards and another day in the offcie for Garaj, who smothered his much bigger opponent  and blocked a lot punches.

Gulamic was down in the first and twice in the second before it was stopped.
4x3: Denys Pesotskyy, 67,4, Ukr/Den  W4-U  Mohammed Al-Maliki, 68,0, Swe
A brave prodebut by the Swede, who was cut and bled from the nose but lkept tryiing. Pesotskyy looked a bit rusty and his timing was off. 40-36x3.
