scores: 96-94 e 96-94 for Ajagba; 96-94 for Vianello

April 13, Malmö, SWE, Hotel Quality View, Armand Boxing Promotion,
ABP 10, dinner boxing, RSO
10x3: Oscar Ahlin, 79,1, Swe  W10-S  Michal Ryba, 79,3, Cze
Ahlin won the vacant WBFed I-C title on a close, split call. Ryba was floored in the 6th but forced the action most of the way in a rather slow paced fight where Ahlin's normally sharp left hook was missing in action. He said afterwards he injured the biceps muscle early on and it showed. After ten it was scored 97-93 and 96-94 for Ahlin and 96-94 for Ryba - and I agreed with that.
6x3: Simon Henriksson, Swe  vs  Anatoli Hunyanyan, Cze
Fight off as Henriksson fell iill fight week.
6x3, c: Samo Janigorv, Swe vs  Dariusz Skop, Pol
Fight off for reasons unknown.
8x3: Maurice Hooker, US  vs  Andrej Bakovic, Slv
Fight off for reasons unknown (some said Hooker had some unpaid bills and wasn't allowed to leave the US)
6x2: Marianne Ahlborg, 69,8, Swe  W6-U  Ester Konecna, 69,9, Cze
Ahlborg chased and Konenca moved well and outboxed the Swede at times but had no power. She looked like she deserved at least a draw but the judges had it 58-56 twice and a too wide 59-55.
6x2: Mohammed Abdulrahim, 60,3, Swe  W6-U  Stanic Sandro, 61,2, Cro
60-54 twice and 58-56. Abdulrahim boxed well but couldn't hurt his opponent.
4x3: Adolpje Silva, 70,7, Swe  W4-U  Sebastian Wojtan, 71,6, Pol
Sylva, very careful, outboxed his opponent all the way. 40-36 on all cards.
4x3: John Salimonsson, 86,3, Kiruna, Swe W4-U    Ilirjan Kodra, 87,5, Kos
All way from the very north of Sweden comes Salomonsson and did well in the evening's sole "fight" where they battled it out on even terms. It was scored 39-37 twice and 40-36.
4x2: Antonia Nemo, 51,6, Swe  "TKO 2"  Diana Csiki Pappe, 50,6, Hun
How bad can it get? Pappne was a complete novice, and an afraid one at that. She turned her back to the action, turned away and couldn't fight at all. She took a standing eight late in the first and early in the second it was stopped - with Pappne's corner man protesting. A major scandal that we can see a "fighter" like this in the ring in 2024.
4x3: Noel Gabor, 69,9, Swe TKO 2 (2.50)   Sylwester Zieba, 69,2, Pol
Gabor's pro debut. Zieba was down in the first and three times in the second but no harm was done.

April 13, Berlin, GER, AGON Sportpark, Agon Spots, bdb
12x3: Oleksandr Zakhozyi, 111,3, Ukr/Ger  TKO 2  Granit Shala, 114,4, Ger
Zakhozyi floored and stopped Shala to win the vacant EBU heavyweight title. Shala was hurt by a right hand, another followed and he went down. As he got up he tried to mix it up with the big Ukrainian but was hurt by a right to the body and then one to the head and  fell through the ropes.
12x3:Alexander Pavlov, 71,9, Ger  TKO 1 Thomas Piccirillo, 72,0, Ger
Pavlov upset Piccirillo and won the IBF I-C title. Piccirillo was stunned, fell into the ropes where he took  a beating until he went down. As he got up he was wobbly - and it was stopped.
8x3: Vincenzo Gualtieri, 72,2, Ger  W8  Joshua Nmomah, 72,3, Ita
8x3: Mohammed Graich, 72,0, Ita  TKO 2  Lellito Lopez, 72,2, Ger
Lopez was hurt, then knocked down, got up, was allowed to continue - and soaked up a bad beating before the referee made a stoppage much too late.
6x3: Hamsat Shadalov, 58,6, Ger TKO 2  Benjamin Abazovic, 58,8, B-H
6x3: Ilja Mezencev, 103,0, Ger TKO 2   Petar Mrval, ?,
