Euro NewsBy Per-Ake Persson Two Olympic Gold medal winner, Pole Jerzy Kuley, have passed away in a hospital in Warzaw at the age of 72 due to heart problems. Kuley won gold at light welter at the 64 Olympics in Tokyo and again in Mexico City 68. His amateur record read an incredible 317-25-6. Kuley also won the European championships in 63 and 65 and a silver in 67. Jerzy was elected to the Polish parliament in 2001 and held a seat until 2005.

EU lightheavy champ Orial Kulaj is injured and his defence July 19 in Rome against Czech Tomasz Adamek is cancelled.
Swedish heavyweight David Loy, 4-1, is returning the US after a year in Sweden. Loy is managed by Thomas Hickey and will be based in Boca Raton, FL. Loy is to be trained by Anthony Hamm. David turned pro in Sweden but then relocated to Florida where he during 2011 had three fights before returning home.
The Albanian Warrior, supermiddle Naim Terbunja, went to 2-0 Saturday night in Kosovo with a four round unanimous decision over Marijan Markovic. Terbunja will next fight in Ystad, Sweden, September 1. If Naim ever get his visa problems sorted out he will move to the US where he is to be managed by Al Haymon. By Per-Åke Persson
