WBO regular supermiddle champ [Karoly Balzsay] is now officially out of the unification fight against interim ruler [Brian Magee] with a back injury and have supplied the WBA with medical evidence.
 

Magee vs Balzsay was first set for July 7 but there were rumors, later confirmed, that Balzsay wasn´t even in training for the fight and later stories surfaced that Universum owed Balzsay money for at least one fight. Still, Team Magee moved the date to September 22 but it´s now off.

 

Team Magee now have permission from the WBA to pick an opponent from the Top 15 in the ratings or an opponent approved by the championship committee and fight for the regular title.
