EU superwelter champ Jackson Osei Bonsu, 43-6-1, will defend the title against Ivan Sanchez, 20-2-1, from Spain May 31 in Antwerp, Belgium. The fight is promoted by Antwerp Boxing Academy.

 

Osei Bonsu (pictured) will first take on newly crowned French welter titlist Franck Harroche Horta, 31-10-5, March 29 in Gent while Sanchez risks it all by tonight defending the Spanish light middle title against Javier Garcia Roche, 12-1-1. A loss here and the fight against Osei Bonsu is almost certainly off as it takes place in the weight division.

 

 

German-Russian ITS Promotion have now announced the program for their inaugural show March 9 at the CU Arena in Hamburg. There are ten fights on the bill topped by heavyweight Aleksander Dimitrenko, 33-2-0, but who he is fighting isn´t clear yet. GBU heavy champ Alexander Petkovic, 45-4-4, tunes up for a defence May 4 in Karlsruhe against veteran Timo Hoffmann, 40-8-2, by fighting one Gaza Nemeth, 0-2.

 

In other action Ali Mamadov, 10-1, square off against Nico Salzmann, 13-7-3, for the WBC Baltic title at jr middle, middleweight Sherzod Husanov, 17-0-1, face Armand Cullhaj, 12-3-3 and middleweight Rafael Bejaran, 14-2, take on very faded Czech trial horse Tomas Kugler in a scheduled eight-rounder.
