Boxfest and Muay Thai in Uganda

Uganda hosts a WBC World title fight and a WBC Muay Thai Championship contest, both on the evening of June 14th.

This will be an international card where WBC Lt. Heavyweight International champion Joey Vegas Lubega will defend his title against Egyptian Hanny Atiyo. Lubega has a record of 15 wins, 8 KO’s 6, losses and 1 draw. Hanny has 15 wins and only 1 loss.

Joey conquered the International title last September 2nd, by defeating Kirt Sinnette by KO in the 4th round.

Uganda opens its doors to Muay Thai for the first time, by holding the Championship for the WBC International title, between Umar Semata from Uganda and Rhys Karakriacos of Australia.
