WBO supermiddle champ Robert Stieglitz, 45-3, defends the title Oct 19 in Leipzig against rather unknown Nigerian Isaac Ekpo, who comes with a claimed record of 22-1.

In second headliner WBO Youth lightheavy ruler Dominic Boesel, 12-0, take on Italian Mirco Ricci, 10-1.

The third featured bout IBF flyweight king South African Moruti Mthalane, 29-2, will take on Silvio Olteani, 14-6-1, from Romania but based in Spain. This is surely the most exciting matchup of the main fights.

British heavyweight veteran Michael Sprott, now 37-21, have of recently been sparring with Tyson Fury and then accepted a fight in Basel, Switzerland, against German based Turk Erkan Teper, 11-0, a good puncher but not very special at all. After an uneventful start Teper (pictured) caught Sprott with a good right that floored him. Michael got up and was allowed to continue but was caught again and went down. As he got up the referee stopped it. The time was 2.47.

Another Fury sparring, Arnold Gjergjaj, 22-0, was to have fought German Markus Tomala, 9-2, in what would have been an interesting test for Gjergjaj but Arnold was forced to pull out due to injury.

Sprott vs Teper thus became the only profight on the bill.
