EBU heavyweight champ Dereck Chisora´s voluntary defence of the title against Arnold Gjergjaj that was set for November 30 in London is off. The EBU states that the reason for the cancellation is that "negotiations between the parties did not end well".
Mandatory challenger for Chisora is Kubrat Pulev.

The Golden Boy, the Swedish version that is. lightheavy Oscar Ahlin, 9-0 (8), had it tough Saturday night against very tough Ukrainan Sergey Demchenko, 14-6, and while Oscar (pictured) won fair enough is knockout streak ended at eight and along the way he suffered a broken and badly busted left hand already in the second.

The fact that his right hand began to swell didn´t help either but Oscar showed true grit and good stamina in his first eight rounder. How he long he will be out remains to be seen but there won´t any more fights this year.
