CAMMARELLE DENIES HE’S RETIRING FROM BOXING

Have been misinterpreted by the press

Italian amateur great Roberto Cammarelle, 33, have announced his retirement. Competing at superheavy Cammarelle won Olympic Gold in Beijing 2008, silver in London 2012 and bronze in Athens 2004.
 
Roberto also won the world championships in Chicago 2007 and Milano 2009 and got a Bronze medal in 2013 and this is just to name a few of the many titles he won. Cammarelle had many offers to turn pro but always declined.
 
Roberto Cammarelle (pictured) denied later he’s retiring from boxing. He says in a statement on the Italian Federation´s website that he might have made some comments that may have been misinterpreted by the press.
