Former WBC cruiser champ and WBC heavyweight contender Juan Carlos Gomez, 52-3 and 40 years old, is on the comeback trail and back to cruiser.
 
In his second fight in November he headlines a show at the CU Hall on the outskirts of Hamburg on Saturday (Nov 23).
 
There’s been some late changes of opponents but the latest version is that Gomez will take on Czech veteran Jindrich Velecky, 19-25, in a scheduled eight-rounder.
 
Supermiddle Ismail Ozen, 7-1-1, who also promotes this charity show have also had problems with opponents and as it is now Ozen face Vladimir Fecko, 6-62-3, in another eight-rounder.

The Klitschko Foundation Third Charity Gala will be held in Kiev, Ukraine, December 5 2013. More than 150 guests will be there to lend their support to the Klitschko brothers’ charitable initatives, and to raise funds for the sport and educational projects of the Klitschko Foundation. Details of the entertainment programme are currently kept under wraps but it´s known that Sylvester Stallone and Hayden Panettiere will be at the event.

British veteran Jason Booth, 37-12, and Hungarian Zsolt Bedak, 19-1, are co--challengers for the now vacant EU superbantam title. Bedak, a former WBO title challenger, comes in after Sergio Prado was appointed official challenger for the EBU title and thus lost the EU title.
