German lightheavy and former Bernard Hopkins victim Karo Murat (25-2-1) returns to action October 31 at the Kugelbackehalle in Cuxhaven and take on Verol Vekiloglu (21-7-1), like Murat living in Berlin.

 

This will be Murat´s first fight since the loss to Hopkins and is also his debut for EC Boxpromotion after his contract with Sauerland Event expired at the end of the year.

 

Also on the bill in Cuxhaven is cruiser Nuri Seferi and heavyweights Christian Hammer and Adrian Granate.

 

 

45-year old Italian veteran Giacobbe Fragomeni (32-4-2) and 31-year old Russian Rahkim Chahkiev (19-1) clash for the vacant EBU cruiserweight title October 24 in Moscow. The fight is staged by LCC World of Boxing. It´s a big challenge for Fragomeni, who´s been around for a long time now.

 

 

Unbeaten cruiser Noel Gevor (13-0) take on Hungarian Tamas Lodi (14-3-1) September 27 in Kiel on the undercard to Arthur Abraham´s defence of the WBO supermiddle title against Paul Smith. Noel, who turns 24 September 27, is trained by his stepfather Khoren Gevor, former EBU champ and world title challenger. Gevor vs Lodi is scheduled for ten rounds.
