Jürgen Brähmer stops Pawel Glazewski in 55 seconds

Dec 6, Oldenburg, GER, Ewe Arena, Sauerland Event, FvA
12x3: Jürgen Brähmer, 78,6, Ger KO 1 (0.55) Pawel Glazewski, 78,6, Pol
Brähmer took out the challenger with a southpaw left hook to the body to retain the WBA regular lightheavyweight title. The champ was fast out of the gate and hurt Glazewski with a left, followed up and as the Pole retreated into his own corner he ducked low and left the body open for a perfekt left hook. Glazewski went down, then went over on all four while referee Russell Mora counted him out.
12x3: Jack Culcay, 69,8, Ger W12-U Karim Merroudj, 69,2, Fra
Culcay retaine the EBU superwelter title on scores of 118-110, 116-113 and 119-109 in an interesting fight between two non-punchers. Merroudj was a sub for Ruben Varon and not really EBU title material but he was in good shape, tried hard and while second best in most exchanges he gave Culcay a good workout and again, Golde Jack failed to put it together. He got the moves but can seldom keep it up for a whole fight.
12x3: Tyron Zeuge, 76,1, Ger TKO 6 (not out) Stjepan Bozic, 75,5, Cro
Zeuge won the IBF Int´l title as Bozic was retired by his corner after taking a steady beating for five rounds. Bozic was hurt late in the first and out on his feet. He kept trying and his punches were good but he didn´t avoid anything coming his way and took a bad beating and the retirement was correct.
8x3: Denis Boytsov, 102,2, Rus/Ger W8-U George Arias, 102,2, Bra
79-72 twice and 78-73. Arias had a point deducted in the final round for a low blow and should have had another docked for another punch way below the belt that topped a good spell for him the fifth. Arias had mrs Arias as chief cornerman with their daughter also assisting. The Brazilian was cut by the right eye after a head clash in the third and he was dangerous with his head throughout, punched after the bell and wrestled Boytsov to the canvas a few times. Boytsov was the sharper man though and won clearly but again failed to impress.
8x3: Otto Wallin, 109,2, Sundsvall, Swe TKO 5 (not out) Ivica Perkovic, 121,2, Cro
Perkovic spoiled his way through the first four then retired between rounds with a claimed injury. Perkovic had a point deducted in the fourth for holding. Wallin, a southpaw tried hard, too hard in fact and got nowhere with his strong but out of shape opponent. Perkovic was a late sub for Jakov Gospic.
6x3: Deion Jumah, 81,0, Uk TKO 2 (1.23) Josef Krivka, 80,7, Cze
Krivka was floored twice in the first and twice more in the second before it was stopped. The Czech appeared to be hurt by a southpaw left to the body and showed little punch resistance after that. Jumah looked sharp though and a lot better than he was as a cruiser.
6x3: Stefan Härtel, 75,8, Ger W6-U Zoltan Surman, 74,5, Hun
Härtel won on scores of 60-54 on all cards and showed good variety in his boxing but couldn´t hurt his stubborn opponent who looked a lot like Sven Ottke (in looks, not in skills).

Dec 6, Budapest, HUN, Sporthall Budakalasz, Felix-Promotion
h; Francesco Pianeta, Ger W12-U Ivica Bacurin, Cro

WBO Euro superbantam title. Stopped after an accidental headclash and scored 80-72 twice and 79-73.
sw: Attila Kovacs, Hun W6-M Karlo Tabaghua, Geo/Swe/Bel
Tabaghua was down in the second but came on after that as Kovacs broke his hand: Karlo floored Kovacs in the sixth but a low blow gave the Hungarian a long time out and he survived. 57-55 twice for Kovacs and 56-56.
