Finnish heavyweight Robert Helenius (19-0) could be on his way to make a comeback this coming spring after long layoff due to injuries and a contractual dispute with Sauerland Event.
 
Helenius (pictured) last fought in March of 2013 and before that in November of 2012 and before that in December of 2011 when he beat Dereck Chisora but suffered a bad hand and shoulder injury that began a long rehab period. In October 2013
 
it was announced that Helenius had left Sauerland Event and almost the same day Sauerland claimed a valid contract and here we are in 2015.

EBU superwelter champ Jack Culcay (19-1) will now be trained by Ulli Wegner writes Bild. Culcay a world champ in the amateurs, turned pro in 2009 with Michael Timm as head coach, then switched to Ismael Salas, who later was replaced by the late Fritz Sdunek. Then came Gary Logan and of lately Joey Gamache and now Wegner.

The fight for vacant EBU supermiddleweight title between Hadillah Mohummadi (17-3-1) and Mariano Hilario (11-2) is now off again after being postponed three times. The last date was March 14 in Elancourt (France). The EBU is now calling for purse bids again and the bids received will be opened February 10 at noon.
 
Mohummadi vs Hilario was first set for December 20, then moved to January and finally to March14.

French superwelter champ Franck Harroche Horta (36-14-5) take on Anderson Prestot (15-0) January 31 in Massy (France). The 34-year old Horta says 2015 will be his last year as an active fighter. He turned pro in 2006 and never had it easy despite a lot of talent. His record his loaded with close, split or majority decisions going both against and with him. In April last year he looked like a clear winner against to be WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee but lost a majority decision after eight with Lee on shaky legs at the end (as was reported by this reporter at the time).
