WBFed lightheavyweight champion Tony Averlant (20-8-2) defends the title March 6 in St Quentin (France) against Shawn Miller (14-1-1). This could be the final fight for the champion who´s been sidelined for some time due to illness not related to boxing. Averlant came very close to beat then EBU ruler Eduard Gutknecht in 2012 and of his good showing he got a shot at Juergen Braehmer, who had beaten Gutknecht to win the title, but was whacked out on two in 2013. He then won the vacant WBFed title in May of last year and the fight against Miller is his first outing since then.
