Today there should have been purse bids for Jack Culcay’s defence of the EBU superwelter title against Cedric Vitu but Culcay relinquished the title and it is now vacant.

Vitu, from Fance and 41-2, will now face Italian Orlando Fiordigiglio (20-0) and EBU have set March 23 at noon as deadline for purse bids.

What Culcay is up to is an open question. There’s no comment from Sauerland Event, who promotes Culcay.
