Kirk is the only boxer in Olympic history to ever win two gold medals
in two separate weight divisions at the same Olympics

He won two medals in Boxing at the 1904 Summer Olympics,
one of only a four boxers to capture more than one medal in the same Olympics.
The others were George Finnegan, Charles Mayer, and Harry Spanjer.
