Bufala was killed at approximately 4:30 a.m. in Las Vegas on Oct. 8, 1976,
shortly after he had returned home from his shift as a baccarat dealer
at the MGM Grand Hotel. The killer first shot Bufala in the chest with a 9 mm slug,
then stepped closer and fired another bullet into his brain.
He was only 32. His killer(s) were never found.
