Liebenberg, down from lightheavy and clearly the bigger, stronger man, was stopped due to a vertical cut on the forehead but was at the time ahead on points. The referee made his decision to stop it without consulting the ringside physician in what was a higly controversial ending. Feigenbutz was forced to retreat throughout and Liebenberg was effective with bodyshots and right upercuts to the head. The cut opened in the fifth and it was a bad but not that bad and it shouldn´t have been stopped.
